Any detailed pix of how you did the headlight conversion ? or a link to how its done ? Also what did you use to make the sides of the tire carrier ? Did you use part of the old tailgate? More info on the Truck pc would be cool to ... You have so much cool stuff now i want to change my truck around some ..

i have the original thread from when i did them. there isn't a tutorial or anything i followed though. as i said i've done quite a few in the past. if interested there may be a tut on here somewhere that someone used another projector. it would be similar. here's the original thread http://ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158958
you can also look over at hidplanet for more info.

sides of the carrier were 1.5"(or maybe it was 2x2") square tubing. the top end cap i rolled a piece of flat stock to contour to the cut square tubing and tacked it in place. none of the old tailgate was used.

what would ya like to know about the truck pc? just let me know!

Yeah, I'll have to tub a bit more, but the main thing I'm worried about is the cab mount. I'll trim it as much as I can, and plate it, but I'm thinkin it'll still rub a bit at full stuff and the steering wheel turned just a bit...

Here is full stuff with an almost bald 315... My true 35s still don't rub, but their kinda close.

found the axle. $575 with the e-locker switch. cleaned it up, painted, made the harness, tested the locker, and voila.

i've thought about that body mount too. i'll look more when i start cutting.. i may design a new mount in CAD and have it cut here at work.

retro, 2nd time for this truck.
same i had on the truck before but after getting into a wreck i didn't put them back in until now. sealed them up a little better and put clear housing lenses on.
    clear lenses and spaced.

also slightly off topic but has been a factor in me not doing much on the tank.. my cousin brought me her 2008 jk and a good lump of cash to build it and give her a starting point.
(also these are from the shakedown run at 491 offroad)

and had a rock get stuck in between my slider. stupid thing.. we were leaving for the day. pushed the cab in a few inches.

i started to follow http://www.norcalttora.com/~dick/Writeup Stuff/toyota_elock_control.pdf but ran into an issue, i can't remember exactly what.. OH my "lock lamp" (look at that diagram) didn't work not sure why. even with a multimeter i couldn't get any reaction out of it. so with the help of a few diodes i made my own lock lamp. also he didn't show using the oem locker switch, so i figured out the connections on the switch and wired that up.

i forgot to add these. the LEDs behind my gauges started dying off. i'll admit i used the wrong resistors which caused them to fail pre-maturely but it's okay. got them replaced
