Yes they will be rougher. They are 600 lb coils to compensate for added front end weight you will add to your truck. I personally like them and dont think they rode bad when i just had my stock bumper but when you add skids and bumpers they ride even better... With the eibach coils you set the 5100's at the bottom mark 0". The aal will be fine with this setup. I ran the diff drop but recently took it off and have been wheeling with no issues so id say its more of a personal preference... I am running almost the same setup and heres the stance.

As for anyone looking to run OME coils on 5100's, its do-able but not recommended due to the valving in the shock not matching the spring rate... If you run OME coils go ahead and spend the extra coin on the nitrochargers that OME makes... THe billies and eibach setup is slightly cheaper and a good option even if you just use 5100's and stock coils.

No, no vibrations what so ever but that will vary from truck to truck... I would also recommend running aftermarket UCA's if you go with the eibach setup and wheel your truck often because the stock ones will bind under front end flex and wear out faster... but i also have my swaybar removed too so mine droops and tucks a tad more. The only other thing i could really recommend would be maybe an ext rear brake line if you ended up with a new set of leafs down the road

If you end up with more than 2" lift up front, I'd drop the diff, Revtek has a good kit, $24ish thru Wheelers.

I am only getting around to it right now, I wish I'd done it sooner.

This is the adjustable kit from Toytec, I ran the original coils set up to the top notch before adding the bumper, then I went with heavier coils.

The heavier coils will be very stiff if you don't have any extra weight up front

Longer front and rear lines going in this weekend. Went a few years with stock, no real problems, but figured it would be a good idea.

Rear billies arent adjustable, the 5100 rear billies are for stock appication so if you lift you will want the 5125's or 5150's and to figure out what length you need just install your rear lift and take shocks off the flex out the rear and measure from shock mount eye to eye for extended and collapsed lenght...but for a typical 3" lift our back a 10" travel shock seems to be the most common

Hey guys I was wondering if i was to do the front bilstein 5100 with stock coils and adjust them to 1" or 2.5" would the ride feel a little rougher because the coil is more compressed? I don't think i would ever get a heavy bumper maybe one like the one on 01tacoma has on his( Nice truck by the way) like from Allpro. And thanks for the info im glad i joined TW.

Yes with the stock coils you can set them at the 0", 1.5" or 2.5" mark...1.5 should level you out with the stock rear setup... It will be rougher than just replaced coils yes but will still ride better than a spacer lift or any other hack job lift setup... My bumper weighs 75lbs IIRC and i got it from Adicted Offroad if you like it and didnt plan to have a winch im sure he could make the same thing so that it sat closer into the truck cause a winch will add at least another 50lbs w/ syn. line.

Allpoo bumper is nice as well i just wanted to steer away from the Allpoo and TG as everyone seemed to be getting those and i wanted to be slightly different.

Thanks for the compliment, its much appreciated!
