I have recently lifted my tacoma with 6 inch pro comp. I am thinking of getting coil overs, what would be different from the original if i get a good aftermarket one. also what ones would be recomended?

I'm not sure if you can slap on any coilover set with that spacer you have to use on the stock ones. Procomp makes some good coilovers that are made for a 6 inch lift so you can ditch the spacer.

Once I get them installed, I will let you know how the ride difference is. I've been a little under the weather so it might be awhile before I get them on. I am currently running adjustable Bilstein 5100's with the spacers right now. And yes...you can run any aftermarket shock with the spacers. I would definitely say Icons would be your best option though. These shocks were built specifically around our trucks.

If you do decide to go this route PM me and I will hook you up with the best guys in the business to order from.
