Been thinking about putting in a cold air intake, just wondering if anyone has had any problems with this when off roading. Its been mentioned to me (by redneck chevy drivin' friends) that you done want to take a truck with a CAI into mud or water, because of the potential for it to get sucked into the engine via the CAI. Sounds a little crazy to me, can anyone shed some light? Im not going to be submerging my truck, at most the puddles will reach the bottom of my door...
