Is it worth it to install a cold air intake? Does it increase gas mileage and horsepower and sound better on the tacoma? Is there somewhere I can find a how to instructions?
    Thanks

What kind of Cold Air Intake you looking into. If you do alot of highway driving I will recommend the Volant CAI with the Ram Air scoop.

I don't want to hi jack your thread but let's expand on that question. Intake vs. "cold air" intake. I removed the "heat shield" plate from my K&N intake. it seamed worthless. was this a mistake? does that shield really make a difference. It didn't seal well enough to keep engine bay heat away from the filter.
