For 2000 bucks my buddy got his 06 GTO automatic to run 11.5 in the quarter. It will take like 6000+ to get my Taco to barely break 12 seconds.

When I needed to know something I searched. But I learned a long time ago how an engine works so I knew an intake would do nothing for my Taco. I had plans and I got it cheap so that's why I bought one.

I wouldn't consider my last post talking shit, unless you're sensative... I'm just looking for feedback.

I have a volant on mine, looks cool, loud. not sure if it added any power better throttle response......also lost 1 mpg tho vs stock. I'm thinking about going back to stock

I lost at least 3 mpg when I put the lift and tires on. That's why I'm hoping there a miracle cure for my loss of power. But in medicine as in mechanics, I'm sure there's no miracle cure.

I haven't heard any pros. Just cons, such as they don't do anything. What would be an alternative or a step up that will actually gain results?

    Pro:

    The noise is nice
    The noise is loud
I got maybe 3 to 5 horsepower at high RPM(you can't feel that so IDK if it is a pro)
    The box says TRD

Yea man! I'd like to move faster than my taco did before my tires and lift. That was the goal from the start, but the tires had to come first. I like gettin in the mudd... Why else would you buy a 4x4 unless you're a poser...? I would like to get the taco moving at warp speed.... I don't want to waste $ on trivial shit. I've done it in other hobbies"saltwater aquariums" and spent buku dollars cause I didn't check the pros first or do my research.

I have had the TRD CAI and I loved it. I sold it to an idiot that paid me more then i got it for. So switched it up and got the RBP air intake kit. It added a few more HP and sounds even sicker. It looks and fits very nice. But I do wish I had the TRD logo still. Just me talking. Take it or leave it.

I recently found out my truck's previous owner put both an air kit and TBS on the truck. About $450 worth of noise......If I could get the stock parts free I would sell it.
