Hey, I'm stationed at Eielson and I've seen quite a few trucks with covers on their grille. Was wondering if anyone has them on their taco and if they actually help. Any advice please let me know thanks!

Just depends if your truck is having trouble maintaining normal operating temp. They will definitely allow your truck to warm up faster and make your heater blow warmer air if you park it outside.

around town it will make little to no difference, but if you drive on highway, like I do (50 miles each way) it makes a world of difference. Your engine likes to be at the operating temperature and it will burn more fuel to get there, if you are on the highway and the cold wind keeps over-cooling your engine, it will continue to burn more fuel to try and get to the optimal temp and stay there. So on the long run, your MPG's go down without the grill cover.

you could also look into converting to a electric fan system, but a cover is a cheap option.
