Has anybody used colinite on black trim such as the off road fender flares? I've read that it's absolutely fine but colinite says don't do it. Others have said it will turn plastic white over time.

I usually use painters tape to cover my trim when waxing just to make sure.

Fillers are what really messes up black textured trim pieces. Collonite 845 does not have any fillers in it. Most All-In-One "waxes" have fillers and they will raise hell with your trim. That said, I would not recommend putting / getting even 845 on your trim. As has already been stated, using Blue Painter's Tape to mask off your trim is a great way to keep unwanted stuff off of your trim too.

What I would recommend is something with UV inhibitors to slow down the oxidation / fading of your trim. 303 Aerospace Protectant works pretty well for that.

What can I use to get the white sealer off my black plastic?

All Purpose Cleaner - let it soak for a bit - and a soft bristle brush. Remember though, any APC that hits the paint around where you are removing excess wax will need to be re-waxed.

Just buy a wax like Pinnacle Souveran that doesn't stain trim at all

Pretty sure that stuff stains from my experience, maybe I'm wrong. Been a long time since I've used it

Well then Turtle Wax Ice liquid wax. But I don't think either will stain rubber or plastic.

Nothing personal, but I wouldn't wax my toilet with a Turtle Wax product.

Yeah you probably shouldn't wax your toilet with it or your arse might slide off on the floor.
