    So after i got my GX470(now sold), i really got the itch to get back into a truck and a diesel truck at that. 2 years later me and the Wife drove to Georgia to get this ole girl.

    Its got some areas of attention (mirror busted, tailgate dent, a bedside dent) but overall it was clean and had good records. Im pretty much done buying trucks so i can go a little crazy with this one.

    Looking at the Carfax it was a fleet vehicle for a telecommunications company. They took it in for services every 5-8K on the dime pretty much.

    its def was a work truck. The color and potential it has drew me in.

    Damn. If you have solid records, that could very well be a great long term truck.

    When I worked at a buddies Cummins shop, we had a 09 come in with 465k miles with a knock. It had a three wedge car hauler in tow. The owner had that wedge hooked from 500 miles on. I was surprised at how little he had changed on it. 2 injectors, 4 sets of brakes due to running the Rockies, and maybe an EGR valve. The second injector is what took out his motor. The shop installed a “used” one and didn’t pop test it. Washed out the cylinder. When we pulled the motor it looked in great shape for those hard miles.

    Jesus christ. Thats actually insane. Yeah i hope to have this truck for a long, long time. Ive never owned a diesel truck so ive been researching like mad. Any tips or suggestions/ products i should use?

    All i gotta say is driving a truck with 800ft/lbs of torque from the factory compared to my tacoma is absolutely fucking insane. And i get almost 20mpg bone stock cruising on the highway.

    Also, Remote start is the tits, especially with it being cold outside. I feel legit spoiled lol.
