Color match paint?

I just got my new eye lids in the mail today and I want to put them this weekend. I went by auto zone and they don't carry my color. so wear can I get a rattle can to match my paint? (indigo ink)and do I need to clear coat over it? and will the new paint match my existing paint ok?

 

I have a set of eyelids shipping my way also. I went down to the local auto paint supplier in my area and had a rattle can made up of my color. The paint is base clear so a clear coat is needed in my case. He just looked at my paint code on my drivers door frame and I had a can in 10 minutes. 3 coats of color, 3 coats of clear....done.

I hope to have my lids for the weekend.

No prob, I found mine on eBay. His email is cenvalref@aol.com I'm in Canada so he doesn't ship out of the US through eBay, too many issues I guess with the border? Either way, I grabbed them from him "private sale" for $40 + $9 shipping. Took a day or too to fab up and they are in the shipping process as we speak. Seems like a pretty good guy to deal with.

Allmost forgot, yes they are the angery lids. There are 3 styles now from 1 - 3 with the first having the least amount of light coverage. After hounding a few TW members about theirs, ha ha I figured the #1's looked best for me. The #1's are the first or original style he made.

So how much is a can of color matched paint typically? I'm looking to paint an upcoming subwoofer enclosure that I'm making and I'll need Speedway blue.

 

I got mine off e-bay from vq5speed. he has 3 different kinds.

I think the color was $20 and the clear was around $8
