I bought my Dakars at the first one I went to. Got a smoking deal on them. One thing Sucked though: I had to park super far away because of all the people and we had to carry them to the truck. Heavy bitches after the First block or so.

Since its been a week and 1k miles with the new suspension(icon/dakars) I thought I'd give a shout out to Jake (GoHigher) for the great job at installing the lift as well as opening up his shop to the mod day. Really happy with the lift, honestly it feels like a caddy on the highways and logging roads. Which was surprising considering how much people complain on TW about a rough ride and random vibrations. Barely even notice a change with the sway bar off as well.

This picture is more directed at the guru's of this thread.. you cant really see the bumpstop but its barely compressed and I have maybe 1/2" left of shock before it bottoms out. Im thinking I will need to extend the bumpstop to make sure I dont damage the shock but just looking for input.

Appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you're happy with it. It looks like you should probably get some taller top mounted bumps.

A small handful of select mods.
What did those bumps measure in overall height? You could get some taller Timbren bumps and mount them to that bracket. It should do what you need.

Truck looks great and kudos to Jake for opening his shop up on a Sunday for you.

4". After researching it, TW member "Airdog" had the same issue . He just added a 1" spacer to solve the issue. Ill probably do the same, Wheelers offers 3/8" spacers for their bumps so I thinking of getting 2 for each side to help push the bump further up. Although before I order anything Ill have to try and get a measurement while flexing it
