I brew but I'm only extract right now, that photo doesn't load anymore are you doing full grain?

bottled a Peach Kolsch for the wife a couple days ago
bottled a smoked porter with graham cracker and peanut butter monday night

this is the last time I'm bottling, getting the keg system set up so i can run two batches at a time :D

I'm all grain and enjoy it. I will be bottling my IPA on Sunday. I've looked into going with kegs as you can enjoy sooner and less BS than bottles. We will see how long I continue to bottle 10 gallon batches. I want to try a Tank 7 clone next, that might be a 5 gallon batch incase it comes out shitty.

    Here is the pic attached.

cool!! I'm a little ahead of the game with kegs, I've got two cornelious kegs already just need to replace the seals and get the CO2 system together. What are you doing for carboys with 10 gallons? splitting it up into two for primary fermentation?

Yes, The plan is to blend them together in my mash tun to use as a bottling bucket with priming sugar and see what happens. This will be my first time with a 10 gallon batch. If it doesn't work out I will look into a single larger fermenter ($$$$)

yes to that using the mash tun as a bottling bucket but where do you have them in the primary fermentation stage where they sit for two weeks while the yeast eats all the sugars?

my two batches going strong a month ago, these are my primary fermentation carboys, i have secondary carboys that are smaller that i transfer the beer into after 2 weeks in the primary, 2 weeks in the secondary, then into the bottling bucket with priming sugar. Hope to get rid of that last step as i hate cleaning bottles, its the worst!!!!

also have you checked out this thread?

I have a carboy and a bucket to ferment in at the moment in my basement. I'm just doing a single fermentation for this brew, as I get more carboys I might do a second fermenter to try and clarify the beer more. But a conical fermenter would be nice to have so you don't have to transfer as much.

I've seen that thread but it seems to be more about what people are drinking instead of brewing.

I ordered a bumper from Addicted to Off Road over Labor Day. At that time Scotty told me it would be 4-6 weeks out. At 6 weeks I contacted them via email and I was told they are on an 8 week turn around. Here I am 8 weeks from the purchase date and now I can't get them to return emails or answer the phone. Is anyone on here familiar with the guys at that shop or know what's going on there?

Not familiar with the shop but if you paid with a credit card you can dispute the charge and get your money back.
