I believe @steezemcqueen said it was a Front Range Offroad build. Intriguing design. Gull-Wing shaped arms gets you LT width but with a stock length coil over. Would be curious to see how it performs and travel figures.

So we get a little confused

They are using a 2nd gen Tacoma front clamshell for a true 8" ring. The CV'S are custom length RCV joints. And like sqeaky said it designed with new arms top and bottom but the bottom is bent it such a way you can use a stock length coil on it.

In the pic it is on 37's but has not been clearanced yet for them. Eventually it will have 4.88 gears with front and rear lockers. The front clearance is pretty amazing actually.

 

Thanks for the info. I saw him at Toyota jamboree in August and spoke with him about it. It looked broken to me at first when i saw it on the trailer. I asked him what happened to it. He laughed
Thought he said it was a tundra diff though. I was curious if they had started marketing it? Probably not yet. Looks like he did a little body work bc when I saw it he'd bottomed the front out and smashed fender good. I like the clearance too. I'm Sc'd with 4.88 and lockers can't imagine trying to run 37's with this auto though. I might like a bomber LT thus my question when I saw it.

By the way sweet tundra and new upgrade coming. What exhaust are u using and have you heard of bamufflers?

 

Yeah I think the 37's are a bit much since the amount of clearancing is gonna be monumental. 35's would get it done. You it might be a 1st Gen Tundra calm shell. It's the same diff that is in the 2nd gen tacos. Or so I have heard.

I think you have me confused with Sean on the tundra and the upgrade. I don't have a Tundra.

 

I was thinking about that setup though, and being it only uses stock length coil overs is it really LT? Sure, due to the fact that it is wider it will have more travel at the wheel then an equivalent shock setup on a stock length arm, but probably a fair bit less than a +3.5LT running 8" coilovers.

Actually you are correct. It's more likely a set of arms with built-in lift then anything.

I thought he said it was getting 13"+ or something. I know it was the same as the total chaos kit maybe plus an inch if I remember correct.

 

Is there a stock length coil over that can keep up to the speed of the long travel set up? Thats also something to consider.

 

If anyone's in the market for a super clean T-100, there's one down here. I saw it and about died it's so clean. I'd like to see a Toyota enthusiast get it, it's quite nice.

There's also a 98ish 4runner in my trucks color (but the more purple version) for like $8100 here too lol
