I kinda get why a shop would be liable for disabling a safety system but I wasn't having them install them on the truck. I refuse to pay $40 a piece for a stupid idiot light sensor

Fuck DST. Or rather, fuck regular time. I want my hour of daylight in the evening back. Could care less about morning.

Oil changed, tires rotated, drive shafts lubed. Only 80 miles early this time instead of 500 like last time. And there goes my afternoon. At least it was like 65-70 instead of 40.

Preach it brother. I would have said something myself, but then it would have just been the ramblings of a GOB. :D

I lucked out and found there's an Amsoil dealer about half a mile from my house. The first couple times when I was using Redline I had to go up to a motorcycle shop on the north end of town.
Same boat. All my family is in IN where I'm from. I've missed some weddings, graduations, and funerals that I'd really liked to have been at.
I can't provide pics, but I'm told it's on the diff, towards the top on the passenger side. I thought it was one of the ones extended into the engine bay, but someone corrected me on that... not that I can find the thread now, but there weren't any pics in it either.
I never had to deal with it growing up, because IN had its own special time zone where we ignored DST. Wasn't until I moved out here I became aware how much of a pain it is. Of course, since then they've adopted EST. Before that it was always fun around change dates trying to remember if my parents were one or two hours ahead of me at the time. And NOW here we are being on 'regular' time for less of the year than we're on DST... so doesn't that mean DST is now regular?

    Moab now... Just pulled in.

Biking up poison spider and down portal on Tuesday probably. Probably goof around at the lunch loops tomorrow.

Trying to get motivated to find camp, and get up to delicate arch for sunrise.

16.8 mpg on the way here, looks like my diy fairing earned me at least 1mpg... 70-85 the whole way.

Well I found this thread on here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/front-differential-breather-is-it-leaking-or-normal.131802/

And I also found a pic of an '06 that was off the truck and shows the lines, which are apparently a combination of hard lines and rubber hose:
    http://www.toyota120.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19761

Which would indicate it is up at least somewhat in the engine bay... so I don't know wtf the guy who 'corrected' me was talking about. I suppose at some point I should try to trace them myself.

My front stock breather goes up on the engine side of the frame, about under the fuse box.
