Possibly my 1st gen. Only detailed info I can find is in a 2wd. Not sure if there is room for the oil pan and differential.

    Easy to say haha.

I could just slap a SC on the old 4 banger and get roughly the same power as the 3.4 For about 3k

    Or

Have the truck sit for who knows how long. Do a lot of custom fab work. Lots of trial and error, cursing, frustration and beer. All just to have over 300 ponies in a 1st gen for likely the same amount of cost as the SC. I'd likely be getting in over my head too. I think the biggest issues would be wiring and trying to get a manual trans to work.

You could turbo that 3rz to get in the 300s. Without a full build it should last a little while.

Could but I'm not really looking for speed per say. Just some more power and maintain reliability. How does a turbo handle off road. To me it would seem kind of erratic having no boost and then boost making it hard to crawl smoothly over things. Maybe I'm wrong just assuming a SC would have a more even power curve.

Not sure how easily a hemi would fit. Going with a new crate motor drives up the cost considerably over a junkyard special. It does solve the wiring issue though.

Eff that. We'd have another 45acp build on our hands.

If you have a crawler box it can be helpful because it doesn't build power right away, though if you hammer the angry pedal everyone could be in for a show. Really, you wouldn't notice it that much with a correct tune. Most people build their turbo cars so they feel the "hit". Don't do that shit riceboy!

I prefer Grey Reef over the mile. But lost some huge ones on the mile so a bit tainted for me.

Coming down pretty good here in NW Arvada. Big flakes and blowing pretty good but nothing sticking to the street, roofs are nice and white though. Makes for a relaxing day at the home office looking out the window :pccoffee:
