Try putting it in 4wd and if it goes away it's the needle bearing (I think that's what it's called) is bad and you can get the tool and bearing from ECGS

Rear pinion needs to be straight with the driveshaft. Post lift they are usually a little low.

Unless you are served a ticket by an actual person it's not enforceable. I've never paid one.

Interesting... I knew that was an issue for second gens, I didn't know it was also one for first gens. From reading this thread (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/1st-gen-4x4-front-diff-bearing-vibration.276853/) about it, the vibrations seem similar to what I'm getting. I'll definitely get out and test in 4wd. Thanks!

I apparently got a parking ticket in may of 2015 that was active when I went to pay the one I got Friday downtown. I ended up paying them both but have not paid the photo mailer I got last week also from stapleton. I debate the photo radar ones bit some here have said otherwise

    Nope.

It's not a county/city thing. Parking tickets are a whole different animal.

Howdy folks, joined the Taco in CO owners club today (is that a thing?). Happy to have a vehicle that will really take me into the many corners of the state.

    RE: the photo van tickets
I've gotten a few in my time, only paid one. When you get one in the mail, and you DO NOT pay by the specified deadline then they have 90 days to serve you in person. If they do so, you have to appear in court (no mailing it in) to pay a higher fine. It's hit or miss if they actually serve you in person, according to a few people on reddit they were served while out in front of their house. But as always do your own research I'm just some chump typing things into the internets.

I plan to, especially before snow rolls in. I still have a lot to read about good tires (I definitely need good grip in snow) but hearing good things about the cooper discoverer s/t maxx?

+1 on the coopers. Great tire although a little pricey for how fast they seem to be wearing.

If you shortened the bed just a little bit and added some rear doors and michelins that would be the perfect tacoma :D:thumbsup:

No no no. Just add some rear doors and it'll be just right

My name is Dan and I just joined the Tacoma Club! I have a 2005 DCSB SR5 6spd (nothin fancy). I am up in Fort Collins, Colorado. Just thought I would introduce myself here.

@Star-Lord 's recommendation we installed shims under the Dakar leaf packs. Kept the rear driveshaft angles really nice and I have no vibes.
