Man I wish!. TRD discontinued the Supercharger for the 2uz early on. So they are pretty rare in a complete kit. The SC is pretty common, but its the small stuff that is hard to find. IE- The belt tensioner, some of the brackets, TRD ECU and such, But when you do find it people want a mint for the stuff... Plus the uz motor family (except the early 1uz) have really narrow rod that supposedly don't like boost... Plus I don't know if there is much support for the tuning end..

    thank you sr!

Well, here we are, the end of summer, and I have what I think might be a simple solution to my AC line whoas...

I found these A/C line splice kits on Amazon for $20-25. They are basically compression fittings. I am mating the stock low pressure Tacoma lines to the Tundra low pressure lines. leaving the fitting on the fire wall is the stock Tacoma hose. It now makes a U-turn and runs to the fire wall where the fitting connects it to the Tundra hose. This hose then runs to the A/C compressor. The other hose I am splicing is the hose running from the condenser to the compressor. Again, the stock Tacoma line will be spliced to the Tundra line.

I have faith that these fitting will work just fine, with one exception. The Tacoma line leaving the fire wall is (I think) a 9/16 line (maybe 14mm). The Tundra line it needs to connect to is a 5/8 line. I can not find these fittings in mismatched sizes. After some trial and error and multiple returns, I think I have it figured out. I was able to get the 5/8 fitting to tighten down on the smaller Tacoma line. I have ordered the 1/2" fitting for the lower lines. I am also going to replace the receiver dryer since it has been exposed for the last year.

I am a little worried about how the sharp upward turn will effect the AC performance. However, these lines are low pressure, and thus the refrigerant should be in a gas form. We shall see.....

Anyway, here are some pictures of what the upper line looks like.

    Cutting the ends off.

I got my AC working. The fitting didn't work, so I found a local hose shop and they made lines for me.

On the way home I made a little video. The speedo is 10mpg slow at 50, so remember that as you watch. Also I was on some back roads.

Nice, but should prob take it down before you get banned...

Also noticed the tack and MPH needles weren't the only ones moving fast  Driving like that and you'll start measuring GPM's vice MPG's :p?

I don't drive like that all the time. I drove like that for this video. I'm normally the right lane Nancy poking along looking for every mpg I can find. If I get banned... Well.. :burnrubber:

Well I start a new job in a little more than 2 weeks. I will then have a lot more funds available for truck parts (and other life things), but my personal time will be a lot less. I still have the Multi mode case waiting to go in. I have 99% of the wiring sorted out. All I really have to do is just swap it in.

I also have some new (to me) interior parts headed this way.

Thanks for posting! For whatever reason my gauge always moves around like that when its low. I assume all the fuel is being shifted away from the float, thus the low reading.

My truck crossed over 150K the other week, SOOO... I bought my girl some stuff.

Its now sporting a 01-04 Center console, a brand new from Toyota shifter console w/ cup holders, a radio from an 01-04 Tacoma, and matching white face gauges, and I tossed my crappy stock horns for.. you guessed it.. 01-04 Tacoma horns..
