i ran with it a long time and it didn't really bother me, aside from the crashing issues which were mostly fixed with the latest software. There also wasn't a lot of good options out until recently.

 

I didn't have a problem with my 13's entune either.

I'm just hopping on the bandwagon.

 

Lol min works fine. Guess I don't care enough about carplay and Android auto

Although being able to integrate other nav (like off road nav) plus full time cameras front and rear would be sweet.... But expensive.

it is nice that front and rear anytime are all integrated and you don't need extra things

 

Didn't know anyone had gotten nav working (on the center screen) with aftermarket radios!

 

according to the guy at crutchfield, kenwood and maestro worked together on the development which is why thats the only one that works currently. i think its a pretty recent thing.

 

Would it make my iPod touch (currently USB'd in) work better?

Well yeah I paid for my music, half of which isn't on streaming services, and me buying one album generates more money for the artist than 100,000+ streams Soo.....

Sorry for the delay, work got in the way of fun, thanks for the reply. I’ll look into the Kenwood.

I thought I was going to be OK with the Entune, the radio is fine for me. The nav is ok for road routes but the search function for locations is terrible or I just haven’t figured it out yet. It leaves a lot to be desired once I hit dirt. Where it really breaks down is the texting interface. The voice to text sucks for me, I guess it can’t understand my southern drawl.

I have the Car Solutions anytime front and rear camera which is great. I like the front camera for when I’m off-road by myself. I wonder if it will interface with the Kenwood unit.

 

i had the car solutions kit, i pulled it out. The kenwood headunit (or most aftermarket ones) will handle that on their own - the maestro adapter will do rear anytime. I have my front camera, rear anytime and the kenwood dash cam all connected and i can flip between any of them. The front camera will come on automatically at low speed.
