I ain’t even seen a half inch of that nasty white stuff this year. Couple cold/windy days but it’s been averaging mid-lower 50s here in eastern NC this winter. Only 5 days or so total of sub freezing days. Ocean temp is a little higher than it normally is this time of year so I’m hoping it’ll warm up sooner.

    Well the groundhog said..... lol

After last winter, I’m happy with this one. We don’t normally have long cold winters and it normally only snows once and that’s it. We had 3 mini blizzards last winter, one that dropped 9”-11” in probably a 5hr period. I did get to try out the tarp trick though and it worked quite well. Pulled right off with all the snow and a clear windshield in the morning.

I have 2 boats sitting in the garage so I'm ready for winter to be done. This week looks like a pretty good cold shot, then hopefully after that it might start to act like spring.

    What am I doing ?
    Nothing.
The boat is hidden behind the garage on purpose.
    Out of sight,out of mind.

Made the mistake of parking on the pad out the kitchen window one year.
    Very Bad Move...
    I saw it every day.
    It killed me...
I also put my small trailer in front of the access. So I can’t move it until all the snow goes.
So by the time I can move it the ground has hardened enough so I don’t screw up my lawn..
So about 45 days and counting.

Went out to the beach for a couple hours, found three shells and a dead whale washed up. Couldn’t fit the whale in the bed so I picked up the shells.

Every baitcaster I have taken apart is still apart in a bag somewhere. I could never put them back together and make them work. Good job!

I have a couple of reels that look alot like that. Mine are Quantam and are at least 20 years old. They still work great. I would never take them apart. Back in the day you could send reels in to Bass Pro and they would take them apart and clean them for a reasonable price. Not sure if they still do that. Good luck fishing this year.
That fish in your pic engulfed that crank bait.
