Does commercial traction T/A are good for a light truck like a tacoma?

Tread is 18/32 dept and they are available with a narow contact patch(235/85/16 is good for me).

But is it safe for the stearing assembly? I must remove my studded tires by the 15th of april,we have received 8 inches of snow today but the law is the law... I don't care about noise all I want is durability, reliability and traction in all conditions.
