In all seriousness I strongly recommend both methods of staying dry. Depending on your lifestyle 1 of these can be invaluable, dare I say ego & life saving? Also they can make decent gloves if you need to pack....bearings or cover your trailer ball to keep things clean. Ok enough double entendres... seriously tho. Stay dry.

Wow! This is a fantastic comprehensive list! You should add pictures and make a public Amazon list of all the items.

I keep a laminated copy of the list behind my rear seat. The list came about when I couldn't find where I had an item stored in the truck and had to dig for a while to find what I needed. Now I just look at the list and I know where to look for what I need.

Walking through wally-world and picked up a siphon pump. I don't think I've seen that on the list.

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
Most of you guys carry way to much stuff! Better to have it and not need it then to wish you had it.

    Good flashlight
    Lighter
    Handgun and spare mags
    1st aid kit
    Fulls size towel
Good water proof gloves and a coat.
If I can't get by on that, then I'll pack more next time.

Seriously, as a L.E.O., I strongly suggest that you keep your registration, insurance card or anything with your home address in your wallet and out of your glove box especially if you have Homelink or a garage door opener in it.
If your vehicle gets broken into or stolen, the crooks now have your address and a way into your home. Also, keep your home address out of your NAV unit too. Better safe than sorry.

never heard that before. Good to know! Granted, they'd have to get past the gate & dogs and if they got to my glovebox they already know i'm very well armed hah.

Excellent securty systems you have there! LOL!!!

Keep in mind, most vehicles are not stolen from the owner's homes. Grocery stores, malls and parking lots are the sight of many thefts.

oh I was just talking about if they got my address. Ironically enough though, somebody hopped the gate & tried to steal my sister in-laws vehicle last year on the property. The gate malfunctioned so they weren't able to leave the property with the jeep

    Good info.
    Insurance card, just copy it.
    But, the registration:
How do you keep registration in your wallet if 2 drivers use the cars? We have 3 vehicles and 2 drivers.

I have a bunch of stuff I keep in my truck. But I do carry paper towels,2 rolls, one in the cab, one in back, camper shell. It works as , toilet paper, Kleenex, clean up hands, spills, fire starter, used to clean windows, check truck fluids. Never leave home without it.
