    Anyone use Network Radio?

I saw this and thought this was pretty neat.

Basically it's a $199 radio network based radio. Meaning you can use PTT apps like Zello on it. Since it's connecting on Wifi through a mobile hotspot or through your home wifi, this means that as long as you have Cellular Data service between two parties but no line of sight, you can still chat.

There are already a few videos on how to setup cross linking. If you had a spare phone for example (work phone?), you could run the zello on the phone app on it and connect it to a cheap baofeng for <$30 bucks and have it transmit on your ham with ease.

The only thing is if you're using HAM or GMRS is that you'll need to identify your station ID every 10 minutes. If you're just using Zello to Zello, then there's no requirement since you're chatting on a private room.

But back to the TM7. It's a 3G/Wifi capability unit that's pretty compact. No external antenna, and it works w/ Zello. If you're fortunate to be bathing in dough and have one of those Weboost 4G LTE Boosters and mobile hotspot service, you can use this.
