Thinking the air bags would be more than I need. But it might be the right option if fox suspension cant handle being over extended by a dakar leaf pack with a couple leafs removed. Not too sure how to find out what the Fox shocks can do... Should I check with the dealer?

Ya gotta check and see the travel of those fox shocks for sure to see how much extra travel is in them!

Sumo Springs ! , The Dakar rear replacement spring pack is a lift kit with travel and ride their primary function what you need is a spring for weight carrying which is completely different. I would suggest calling the people who make that spring and ask them if it's a cargo spring or for a desert runner ? And proceed from there with adding the Sumo Springs ASAP

Second this. I added Sumo Springs for the same reason and have been very happy with them for my application. They are a pretty easy DIY install and very cost effective.

Honestly you could measure them on the truck and simply unbolt one and see how much more it extends based on the measurement you took off of it on the truck!

The sumo springs seem like they would get in the way of any offroading, but it doesn't seem like a bad option. I like the idea of upgrading the leafs, but if they add lift without load the stock suspension I paid 6K more for would have to go. Thinking I'll make a call and find out if there's a way to get dakars without the extra lift, just a little stiffer in the front end of travel.

I vote for 100% custom leaf pack with custom air bag setup and onboard air with ride height sensors, no other options.

Or you could go with Dakers and remove the 3rd leaf and be done with it for $450. Don't over complicate things.

If I'm going to add a compressor I should add tire air pressure controls so I can adjust the PSI in my tires... hold up, I'm going to go "borrow" my dads credit card for a few billion dollars

A 200 pound cap is nothing. The truck doesn't even know it's there. If you're hauling weight down a highway like I am a re arch with an add a leaf has been good enough

200 lb cap + 100-200 LB tools equipment are daily for me. Also the pro leafs are tuned a little softer from the offroad.

I forgot you were probably going off-road a lot carry-on and good luck with whatever you come up with

I believe it was the 3rd leaf possible one of the 2 over load leafs. I know reading somewhere removing the 3rd leaf will drop it 15 mm plus whatever sag from the reduces rate from the extra 200 lb hard top.

True the ride is better, but I can see that the truck is no longer level, which is going to drive me bat shit crazy.

so in american 15mm = a little over half an inch. That's good news, but it sounds like I still need to get rid of 2.25" of the total 2.75" a dakar leaf pack has.

True. Back end is a bit higher for sure, except under load. Then level for the most part.
All trade offs. Good luck and find some trucks if you can in your area to view in person.

I've got my All Pro expo leaf packs sitting here waiting to be installed. Now if only Relentless Fab could ship me my bumper, I'd head over to the mechanic and get everything installed! Very excited to get these parts on :)
