Not sure if this is the right place for this, but the previous owner of my 96 DX installed an air locker in the rear diff, but never installed a compressor or plumbed it. I jacked up my rear axle and hooked up my Viair 88P to the fitting and confirmed the locker works. I'm now trying to figure out the best way to permanently hook up the air locker.

I've looked at the ARB single compressor, and if it's the best option, that works, but I'm wondering if there's there a reliable, budget OBA setup that'll be at least as good at filling up my 33" tires as the 88P. I'm an electrical engineer by trade so harnessing doesn't concern me, and I can figure out the plumbing, especially if there's a good writeup somewhere. I've heard people talking about a smittybilt compressor that can be hard mounted, but I'm doubtful of the quality.

If there isn't a good budget option like that, I assume my best option is to get a small compressor, plumb it in, and use it just to actuate the locker and continue using the 88P to inflate the tires.

    Any options I'm missing?

I just have a little G2 compressor that only is used to activate the air locker. Was cheap but still works 4-5 years later

Viair is currently having a Black Friday sale. I just ordered their model # 42027 which has a small tank but the more important part is that it comes pre-tapped with 1/4" NPT ports for things like an air locker. If that doesn't tickle you, they have a separate 4 port manifold you could add to anything they sell (but not the 88P it isn't made for that use case).

    Oh sweet, thank you guys!

Looks like Vevor has their single compressor (that by all accounts is made in the same factory as the ARB) on sale for $107. A buddy has one and he loves it, so I'm thinking I'll go that way. As much as I want the Viair, it's out of my budget right now.
