When installing my fog lights I was running the wires under the dash I popped out the blank panels where the buttons for HAC, A-TRAC, etc are normally. One panel popped out no problem, the other two are holding a few wires as if it is pre wired for the two previous stated options. My question is: Should my truck have the blank panels or is it a miss that I do not have the proper buttons/switches to enable the HAC, A-TRAC? If it ends up that they are all just pre wired will adding the cooresponding switches/buttons allow me to use those functions or will the computer/equiptment not understand?

My truck is a 2008 Access V6 SR5 TRD Off Road 4x4 with an A/T.

    Thanks guys!

This has been covered hundreds of time before. If your truck didn't come with those options, you can't just add a switch to make them work.
