    I have a 99 4 cyl 2.7 2wd.

I replaced both o2 sensors a couple months ago. With non OEM parts.

I have now been throwing all sorts of codes indicating that my truck does not like the upstream sensor.

I am having trouble figuring out what/where to buy .

Rock auto, which is where I usually buy everything, does not have a Denso upstream.

I've found it on some sites being called the air fuel ratio sensor but not for the 2.7.

I've found sites that have it, but there seem to be a few different versions as they're priced differently even though they appear to be the same.

Not sure why I'm struggling with this but I want to make sure I buy the right thing because a) it's $150-$200 which is a lot and b) I don't want to destroy my truck.

Thanks for any help. It's always appreciated.

Not exactly sure this will help but rockauto has the Denso upstream sensor for my 3.4.

You sure they don't have it for the 2.7?

Grey wire and keyless entry. I like stock.
Yeah, its an air fuel sensor. It reads and the ECM adjust the truck accordingly. The rear O2 just tells the truck the cat is working.

Denso part# 234-4162 is what you want. Search on RockAuto. They have it.

    Yeah I saw that.

That seems to be the upstream one. My only question is: Is there any difference between 4WD and 2WD models for O2 sensors?

I know that Toyotas seem not to like Bosch parts. What brand did you get?

Yea I'm not sure. I know my boss' 4x4 RAM has o2 sensors all over the place. I think 4 or 5 total.

Originally I bought APWI Part # AP443. I tried to cheap out. Bad call.
