Connecting an Ipod without a SAT button?

    Hello all, this website :

    says that i need a SAT button to make the interface work. am i missing something? because i can't find a SAT button on my 07' prerunner DC. has anybody done this without a SAT button?

    That model does look like it requires a satellite radio equipped radio. I don't know much about PAC devices, but I went with USA-SPEC and don't have the SAT radio (just single-CD). I think this PAC device allows a broader search through iPod content (artist, album, genre, etc) that the satellite radio controls also contain.

    My iPod works as an emulated CD changer (the USA-SPEC plugs into the CD changer port) and as such I still have to select which "disc" I want to listen to. Discs 1-6 are my first 6 playlists, 7 is entire iPod shuffle, and 8 is direct mode where you control selection on the iPod.
