Connector Burnt From Blower Motor. Anyone Ever had this issue?

    Took these part numbers to the dealer yesterday and they appreciated just looking them up. They told me that they buy the wires in 10 unit bags and so you just tell them how many you need. Bend over and grab your ankles on the price of each wire ($7/ea) but I'll get over it. I cut my old one off, striped about 1/4 inch from the source and replacement wire side, slid 2" of heat shrink tube on the wire, used a butt connector on each, shrunk the tubing over the connection, and snapped it into the connector (making sure the polarity is correct). I took a little steel wool and polished the motor connection pins then blasted with electronic cleaner and compressed air. I used a few zip ties to make it a clean installation and we're back in business. It's about a $25 total fix and a half hour of time. Now I don't have to wiggle the wire a few times a day in 97 degree heat.
