It's the mentality of people like you who screw things up here in cali. Research has been done by the FBI and ATF that shows crime is less likely to happen in locations where a vast majority of the citizens are armed. We dont carry guns to kill people. We carry guns to stop someone else from killing us. It's everyone's right to protect themselves, not just the badguys. Guns carried by civilians are often times used to deter crime just by presenting a firearm, not actually shooting it. Anyone who carries a concealed weapon should know the responsibilty of doing so. Anyone who is issued a permit is a law abiding citizen who is entitled to do so. The only idiots going around shooting people are the criminals. If guns are outlawed only outlaws would have guns.
