Ok I am considering lifting my 07 PreRunner DoubleCab and i know little to nothing on the subject of suspension and lift kits. What things do i need to consider deciding leveling kit vs. lift kit? Which kit would you recomend for each that is most cost effective? and What would provide a smooth ride with offering a more commanding view of the road: lift or level? (I am willing to spend LESS than $500) TIA

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Billies at 2.5" with an AAL is about the most bang for the buck at under $500. It will be close though. I would suggest searching as there are HUNDREDS of these same threads.
