Go old school with a 6" over cab height topper like a Leer 180, rubber boot, remove the rear cab window. Put a futon mattress between the wheel wells, some RV cushions for the bedsides, you're in business. Front bench? Pffft.

Advise? Don't do it. I'm pretty sure there are a number of safety standards that wouldn't be met and whomever is in that third seat up front will likely be seriously hurt in a crash.

    Best sales person ever.

    Buyer, I have a family of 6.

Sales man, I have the best car right here for you, seats 5.

    Buyer, where do I sign?

You're stoked then when you go camping. One vehicle to take your family in and one to take your gear.

You can't get a bench seat in it because I think the E brake will be in the way, you would have to relocate some things for sure on top of building a custom seat. Your better off getting another vehicle that better suits your needs

Our 05 Runner has that option and the mounts for the seat in the back. Never bought the seat to go in it though.

...with the way most girls are now days I wouldn't want them in the kitchen. They'd probably burn the house down or burn the food. Millennial generation is a generation of women that can't cook.

That actually might work if the seat mounts are the same however you would have to remove the center console or cut it.

Do regular cab 2016+ models have a bench seat up front? If so my bad.

Edit. Turns out this is no longer an option in 2016 (regular cab). So I stand by my opinion that it could be unsafe to do so.
