    Not sure about what the actually regulations are. But I'll reword my statement....you'll not find a current vehicle produced for the N. American market (or at least for the USA) that does not have a shoulder restraint at all belt locations.

    But as many have said.....not a good idea anyway. Just too may modifications and "what if's" to worry about...if it were even possible at all. Sorry OP.... just reality.

    I know this is an old thread but I’m looking into this now too. I have an automatic 2nd gen so no issues with the e-brake. The shifter could be relocated to the steering column by using the 1st gen tundra steering column. Then the bench seat from a 2nd gen Taco reg can fit or possibly even the whole front row from a 1st gen tundra which has the convertible armrest/seat thing and then you can also recline and adjust driver and passenger side independently.
