Good luck! I was in Melbourne Beach yesterday and saw a nice silver one.

Yeah....297 and some change to be exact. Once we get it sorted out, it should be 400+

Got the hubs back in and somewhat “aligned” At least the wheel looks straight. Definitely have to find a good alignment shop to get it dialed in. I won’t trust Firestone for this first one

Tonight hope to get exhaust and take apart my rack and pinion, maybe mess with the rear brakes :notsure:

Welp they sent me the wrong exhaust....sent me one for the A80 and not A70 so we shall see how they remedy this. Can't win towards the end I guess.....

Edit: well they are accepting responsibility so they're sending me a shipping label and I get to drag that to UPS and ship it out...only downside is the exhaust of course is back ordered basically everywhere so I have to wait until sometime in August for them. :frusty:

Threw my rear brakes on, hopefully the ebrake works, looked a bit off when I put it back together but we shall see. I’ll need to break in the new shoes I put on it as well as pads and rotors. Should’ve just upgraded rear brakes as well but then I’d have to get them both painted and go down another rabbit hole. So next time!

Also attempting to throw my rack n pinion back together! Wish me luck I can get it fixed :fingerscrossed:

Edit: well I didn't fix it. The 2 tests (which I didn't do last time) is to make sure the oil seals worked and the second one to make sure the telfon and o-ring seal worked. Well it passed test 1 and failed 2nd test. Didn't know about the little o-ring behind the teflon seal so I think that's why my original rebuild failed. So I replaced that but in doing so I ruined one of the seals (the racks teeth getting pulled thru it) so once I got it all together it failed both tests due to that bad oil seal. Got 4 seals on order and hopefully I can pick them up tomorrow from the dealer....if not it'll be another week or two since I'm going on a work trip next week. :frusty: Can't fucking win with this damn thing.

But I did get to bleed all of my brakes and the new double flares I put on seem to be holding which is great news! Will be monitoring them once I get driving again. Shipping out the wrong exhaust tomorrow so hopefully by sometime in August I can get my correct exhaust on, in the mean time probably gonna throw the old on back on just to break in the new stuff and fix any other issues that come up

No real updates, work has been kicking my ass but so far I've rebuilt the steering rack and it passed both tests. So I need to throw that back in and install the tie-rods next week. Exhaust has been back-ordered longer now probably due to COVID so stock exhaust will go back on in the mean time. Hopefully by the end of next week it'll be up and running baring no issues :fingerscrossed:

While I wait for the last few parts to show up I snagged a modified stock shifter from a local guy. Basically just cut the stock one down by 2”. Figured for $25 I don’t have to mess my stock one up if I don’t like it

    272F8EAB-81FE-4C3C-A037-C6CE0CE9C3F0.jpg

Probably gonna keep this for a while, maybe I’ll switch to a short throw shifter and cut it down since I don’t like how high they are

Started it up last night! Took 2 tries since I replaced the fuel filter but it fired right up the second time! Stock exhaust is in for now, gonna mess with the steering fluid tonight and get it back on all four tires and hopefully derivable tonight! :woot:

Since work is super slow on a customers site right now I decided to get a list of what's all left to do: (in no particular order)

    1. Get alignment
    2. Fix steering clicking
    3. Fix rear clunk
    4. Purchase/install exhaust (when it's not back ordered)
    5. Re balance tires
    6. Recheck/tighten bolts
    7. Address oil leak
    8. Check ABS light
    9. Check Light warning light
    10. Monitor everything (ongoing)
    11. Order/install 45619-14020

Possibly, not 100% sure when my clicking is happening but since those are $5 I figured why not try :notsure: I've been super busy with work ever since I got the damn thing up and running that I've only had like 2-3 days of diagnosing my remaining issues

You never know in the Southern US....

I know that there can be creaking and popping at full steering lock when those stops are broken or gone.

That's what I've heard from the forums as well, I can't tell exactly where my noise is happening (seems like when I'm turning at low speeds) but I've got like 3 noises I'm hearing (this one, exhaust taping my trans mount, random rear suspension clicking) so I've got to solve one at a time

My speedo cable rattles against the exhaust but I've been too lazy to come up with a solution. I'd been hoping to pick up a new exhaust at some point, which may cure the issue with a different design.
