Yup there's a whole rebuild kit from ebay, as Dan said just new contact points and plunger. Cleaned up the rest of it and it worked fine

Hi Josh, I'm hoping you can tell me if you used the supplied Prinsu spacers/hardware from Prinsu? I'm having trouble figuring out how to use the supplied 1" tall black spacers. Haha, just seeing now that this post is from 2016, but ant tips much appreciated. They sent me these spacers and the bottom portion of the rack/side-rails (where meets cab roof) are 'flat' (90'degree bends there, yours looks the same) meeting the contoured roof at extreme angles. I must be missing something here.

I've installed two of them and I did not use the spacers.
And i had to do some "adjusting" to get the mounting points to sit flush.

Yeah they supply different spacers now. They just sent some white plastic ones that I used. But since things have changed I would follow what @Phessor has done since he done 2 of them. But also those spacers are much taller looking than the ones I have. If you want I can grab a picture of mine

10-4 got it. I'm wondering how you accounted for the gaps between mounting feet/legs and the sheet-metal top. I've never done a plus nut. Is there 'adjusting' there? Or are you referring to modifying the feet/legs? I'm hesitant to mess with bending aluminum. I'm not sold on these 1" black spacers, I think that's the hardware for the newer trucks w/gutters/weather-strip. I appreciate the info.

Oh really? I wonder if they are shorter than these 1" ones. I'd super appreciate a pic and the height. I think these 1" ers are for the newer trucks with gutters, it looks like the newer trucks have about 1/4" protruding from top out of gutter/channel. I'm just wondering how you guys accounted for the angles not matching up, the gaps between the rack legs/feet and the contoured sheet-metal roof. I appreciate you guys.

So here is what my spacers look like. Also a finger for size reference

Don’t mind all the black, it’s just a bunch of sealant as after 5 years it started to leak a little so I over gouped it on purpose

Mine were an inch tall, so I didn't use them.

Yup! Only made the clutch issues worse and make the carpet stink haha. Been running pretty good ever since I replaced the clutch

10-4 on the sealant, I talked to Prinsu and they recommended a black RTV which I got (type 270 I think). Thank you for the pic's. I'm going to ask Prinsu about these/any shorter spacers.
Josh could you please tell me how far your first bolt is from your glass/windshield? On the front.
My main thing still is- I don't know how to deal w/these angles/contours. I mean the rack could go back an inch or 2 it seems at most which would help (pic is of the front ones, most sever angles).

Phessor, if you could please- how did you do your "adjusting" and did you put anything under the 'legs/feet' of the rack to protect roof sheet-metal/paint? I don't know what the f'k I'm doing here.

You're the man, thank you for taking the time to that. As far as I recall I measured mine about 3.5-4" or so from the black weatherstripping.
Talked to Prinsu today, they said they don't think I need to use spacers and to get some tape or something to put on the bottom of the feet. Thx again

Hi Josh, wondering if you can do me yet another big favor? I asked Prinsu about these spacers (seem a lot better than the 3/4" OD by 1" tall black ones sent), and they don't know/don't have them. I'm going to have to source some, and am wondering if you can tell me the size of the white ones you have? and are they rubber or plastic? Many thx.

I'm pretty sure you can just grab them from Home Depot or similar. But the dimensions I could get are 1/2" tall by 1.1" OD and they are plastic. I couldn't get the ID because I'd have to take the rack off but it's not much bigger than the OD of the supplied bolts

Phessor, as far as "not using the spacers" did you just lay the aluminum feet direct onto the sheet-metal top?

Man thx. I'm looking at black rubber spacers/washers. I'm thinking the rubber may be good to maybe help with the offset angles, but am wondering since Prinsu sent you plastic ones. I found some 1 1/2" OD, 1/2" tall, by 1/4" ID. I think I'm going to go that route. I read that you already said plastic in above comment, argh. Thank you, much obliged.
