Could always throw some rubber spacers on top or bottom of the plastic to help with the angles :notsure:

Well not too much as been happening on the truck front. Just super busy with work and life, I have gone camping here and there but figured I'd just post up that I've owned my truck for 10 years now. Definitely has come a long way

Quick question Josh. Got my hands on a prinsu. Currently installing. What kind of rivnuts originally came with your rack? An actual rivnut or a plus nut? Drilled one hole and quickly realized the plus nut will not be able to be inserted where it needs to be depth wise ( ~1” ) before starting the “crimping” process. Good thing it was only 1/8” hahaha. Unless I need to drill through the second layer of metal but that feels like I’d go through to the headliner…and that’s sketchy lol

Edit: Got it all figured out

Pretty sure they were plus nuts, but it's been a minute. I know the front holes needed to drill both layers of metal just a bit but not much. Glad you figured it out though!

Josh! How you been man? First timed I've been on here in forever, glad to see you're still active. You still have the same truck? I just cleaned mine up and got some pictures. She shined up pretty good.

Hey man! Doing great, just living life! Glad to see you're still out and about! Truck get's used for camping mostly and around town things, no longer DD which is extremely nice. Should have a pretty big update in the next coming months tho! Looks awesome man, glad you still have her!

It's been a minute but this has some decent updates. Got in on the Lone Peak Overland Camper, this thing is awesome! I need to get interior pictures but here's a few from the few camping trips I've used it on. Super easy to set up (after you get all of the stuff out from the bed  ). I now have a second battery setup to power all my camping accessories, super easy to install the electrical components. I've got solar charging for the battery as well as it's hooked up to the truck battery to charge while driving. Overall super happy with the setup as it makes a great spot for the pup to sleep in!

    Delivery Day!

Getting it set up out front of the house.

First time using it, ended up raining that trip and boy was it nice to not have a wet dog in the truck or the tent!

Overall stoked with this thing and can't wait to modify it and add my own twist to it!

Will eventually need these to lift on/off:

    Winch
