I have a mini write-up on that page. But tbh, make sure you get the rack 100% (i.e PC or painted prior to installing it) After that go ahead and mount it on top of your truck, measure to make sure it is in the middle of the roof. Then adjust how far up you want it. After that mark all the holes either either a punch or marker (or both) then start with the back holes (they're easier and it'll build confidence drilling into your roof  ) then move forward. The front 2-3 holes on each side have to go through 2 sets of sheet metal, so take your time. Also I'm not sure if I used different hardware then what was provided I'll have to double check, but the rivnuts where a huge PITA IIRC. Just take your time, do not rush it. I'd set up for doing this for 2 days and take breaks or take the entire half day. If you guys have any more questions just ask and good luck

Edit: pay attention on that page where I talk about the socket it helped a lot. I used a socket to hold the bottom nut there until we got a good enough backing on the rivnut. I held that socket with a wrench, you're going to need another set of hands one to hold the wrench the other to ratchet the rivnut.
