When I did mine I ended up just throwing a nut on the back of the plastic legs and it made its own threads.

I can snag some pics of it after work if you'd like. Doubt I have any in the build

There are washers and a screw in the middle of the picture. If you can see it

But I also want to mention that I broke one of those fucking clips. Like what the fuck? When I want them to break they don't, but when I don't want them to they do :annoyed: :frusty:

Thanks bro.....I just did the same thing with washers and a screw.....mine was kind of a PITA though, the GrilleCraft Grille has small diamond shaped holes in it and of course it didn't line up with any of the damn things on the back of the emblem.....but got it all put on and centered...but it's a little off on the parallel line by like the smallest margin....enough to bother me though FML. OCD :censored:
If you mean those shitty clips on the grille itself where it attaches to the truck...I haven't had those in forever cus they always fucking break.....I've been using the big zip ties to secure that bitch.

I had to cut some of the fins on the back to get it more flush. Took some modification but it worked out well.

I use to use zip ties but I finally found the part number for the clips so I used 3 out of 6 because I knew they'd break

Yeah I'm gonna trim the fins so it will be flush and get it more level....but it's on for now, so will get to the fine tweaking later

    Are those relentless bed rails?

Wondering how much room I'll have in the bed, hoping enough to fit an ARB or (like) 12v fridge. Maybe a yeti of my dad's if he doesn't notice it's gone....

I do have a question with the RAT Skid plate. I build a custom front bumper and I was wondering how these skid plates are attaching in front. Do the mount to the old skid plate mounting position or is it elsewhere? Also do these aftermarket skid pates compensate for the 1" diff drop?

No they are not. There were from Bashfab but I'd recommend getting Relentless he makes great stuff. And you'll be able to get a cooler/fridge under it with no problems

As long as you didn't have to cut the stock mounting points for the stock skid. RAT will work but I'm not sure if he'll be back seeing he sold his Tacoma.

As for the diff drop, yes most aftermarket skids already account for it

Thanks bud. Do you not like them?

Monte said they are the only low pro bed rails....seems like that was easy searching.

No I have to use washers just to get the bedrack "flush" with my bedside. If I could do it again I'd get Relentless but I'm going to fab up a bed rack down the road
