On my '06 X I ususlly drive around with what I call a trucker's sippy cup in the center console. I noticed that a couple of the sides were nothing but 1/8 " hard plasatic. So I got a sheet of 3/8" styrofoam, fitting pieces on all 6 sides, attaching them with a little double stick tape. The top still closes! After my truck sits in the sun all day the cup still has ice water !
It also works really well with a drive through hot breakfast. It stays hot 'til I get to work !
It's funny, I've never bought any viechel that I could not make some kind of "Engineering" improvement.
