About 2 years ago, I had Campways in San Jose, CA refurbish my 20 year old Glasstite camper shell. The seals on the front window leaked and the gaskets under the side windows started bulging out from under its window frames. They installed new window seals, new camper shell gasket between the shell & bed rails, and reinstalled the shell. I had Maaco repaint my camper shell after a couple of mishaps of taking off the camper shell, storing it on the ground, then reinstalling the shell without any sawhorses & 2'x 4" beams to support it. I scratched up the sides of the truck bed & the camper shell.

I went down to Maaco, got a quote for $400 to repaint it using a factory color paint to match the truck. It made the overall appearance of the truck shell new again. For me, it worth it to have it repainted and it made me feel good about the way that my truck looked when I walk by or drive it.

@hardshelltacomarine Dude your raptor-lined shell looks insanely good! A deal on FB marketplace just came up. I have a 2018 black sr5,and the shell that came up is white. Thinking about going the raptor line route after seeing yours. Is there any chance you could post a follow up on how its holding up a year or so later? Any fading or chipping etc? pictures would be sweet!

How much raptor liner did it take to do the camper?

I ended up doing mine. If I recall my kit came with 3 bottles of liner and I used 2. It came out incredible.20210523_123457.jpg

Thanks! I can only thank raptor liner. It was super easy. The only thing I can claim is that I took my time with the prep work and followed directions for spraying. I used a small pancake style compressor and it worked fine
