    Thanks @mauigrown. I found this thread and a few folks on there have the same dimension as you at 15.9″ coll. and 26.8″ ext. Sounds like the right dimension needed for Dakars. SDHQ's dimension of 16.65" coll and 28" extended at 11.35 travel sounds great, but might be too much and need relocation kit (I think). And like you said possibly measuring tip to tip?

    @Chapman

    If you haven't purchased a UCA set yet, look at Dirt King. I have them on both of my Tacomas and I couldn't be happier. They're stout as hell and the uniball they use has never given me any problems nor noise (I keep them lubricated with dry moly). I replaced a set of TC UCAs with Dirt King if that tells you anything.

    I am hoping to upgrade my rear to Dakar's soon and am in the same boat with my Icon's. Literally emailed about this exact thing a few weeks back. It looks like most people were recommending the extended Icon's that Wheeler's offers. ARB told me the dimensions of the shock they include with the Dakar packs and it was very close to my off the shelf Icon shocks but still Icon recommended a longer one as the off the shelf shocks for our trucks are only designed for 1.5 inch lift. Let me know what you end up going with.
