1.) is anybody running a JBA header/exhaust kit? they claim to have good horsepower and mpg increases and they have a kit for us. i am looking into a new exhaust and was thinking about a flowmaster 40 kit, but headers would be sick. maybe we should look into a groupbuy?:D

2.) i was on the trd website and it says that the CAI is for race only and not emissions legal. wtf? then why do so many people have it? do you guys just swap in the stock one when going to get inspected? are there any better alternatives that won't void the warranty and whatnot?

3.) not a question, but for all who are reading this post i am looking for performance and sound from all three products. can anybody help me out?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Flowmaster will rob HP. The CAI is not CARB legal in Cali. It is ok in the 49 sane sates.

Stock intake setup is already technically a "CAI." Most people who have added aftermarket CAI's have huge disappointment because it'll kill performance & mpg's.

I know a few people that haven't liked there JBA headers and have had issues with them. More people like the Dough Thorley headers. There just a better quality header.

i think you'll get just about as much HP gain from a K&N drop in filter as a CAI. The only CAI I could see buying is the URD True CAI...heres a pic

I just ordered the JBA headers from http://www.performancepeddler.com/ for only $343.90!!! Can't beat that price plus they offer free shipping. JBA is a quality product and they stand by their products if you should run into any problems. Let you know how the install goes.
