Are all lights to operate when a door is opened or only the lights on that side? I'm trying to troubleshoot the drivers side. The passenger side works the passenger side only. I also have no power to the upper cabin light, could these two things be related? Thanks all! Mike

A good practice to get proper response to your questions is to add your vehicle specs to your profile.

You need to be very specific with the description of your truck: Year, model, configuration (hence the first response to your post). For example 1995 has completely different interior light behavior than 2001 year (different Body ECU). Even within the same year the interior light configuration can be different. For example my truck has only one dome light (no door lights, no no personal light, no electric door lock) and it has completely different electrical connections from 1995 truck with personal lights, door lights or electric door locks. Believe me all these things impast behavior. Only knowing your truck configuration I can give you definitive answer, without that it's pointless guessing. :notsure:

You wrote your question in 1st Gen forum, so what answer did you expect?

Thanks skeezik! My Electrical Wiring Diagram just arrived. A lot to learn before I can learn anything. :) The drivers switch is working as are the both door lights. The buzzer for my headlight on when getting out and cabin light are next. Just need to figure
