    So I busted my balls last weekend in Ocotillo. Drove the truck with a little to much spirit, and just noticed today that the rubber cracked and the grease is slowly squishing out. Awesome...

    Anyway, this is an excellent excuse to upgrade my camburg balljoint UCA's. My ideas are.

    1: replace Toyota OEM joint with MOOG balljoint=cheapest

    2: replace camburg arms with uniball-TC, Camburg, light racing, who else am I missing?= pricey

    3: Allied spindles + replace joints with MOOG's. This will relieve pressure on joints which probably caused the premature crack from abusive driving through the whoops. Will also take all the preload off the spring allowing more down travel and cure my plastic minor rub. Obviously this will cost an arm and a leg since I'll also need extended brake lines... approximately $1500'ish?

    What to do... I'm more or less leaning toward the Uniballs, but would love to find a great excuse to go with spindles on my 2wd. I'd like to go with the strongest option as well since my truck sees hard abuse. Would the MOOG joints hold up with no angle on them? I dunno... do you?:confused: Thanks

    If you were going to hit woops you should have bought the Uniballs the BJ's are just for light wheelin' no woops at 70MPH... reach deep in those pockets!

    Yes yes, i know I know... they are. I'm about 3.2" high. This cracking was all my fault, but now I've gotta upgrade to something better.

    I'm actually in need of upgrading myself too. I have SAW 2.0s and it shows waay too much thread because I'm about 2.75" of lift. I'm thinking of Icon Remote Resi Ext Travels or King 2.5 w/ Resi. Ahh the joy of breaking things and making it better buy spending more! Hope you can work it out man.

    nah, I guess you could basically say allied=camburg spindles. But yea you get the point, I'm considering 4" spindles, but the price is really pushing me back on practicality right now. I'm really looking at Built right upper control arms.

    extended travel? That's just gonna take the load off the spring... still wont drop as much cause we're still limited by the droop travel of the LCA and UCA. Ah.. Blue remote resi shocks would be pretty cool

    sorry was just wondering. ya i really want the camburgs but price has got me too. was kinda hoping that maybe there was someone else out there with competitive prices. would be nice. but if you call camburg, tell em your on here, and make the drive to huntington....theyll sell em to you for 895. only 100 cheaper but hey, thats the brake lines.and an extra 100 saved

    no worries bro. I'd love a set of spindles. 895? 100 bucks off... well that's almost exactly what it could cost for me to drive up there.
