honestly the parts can be well priced
For example their UCAs when I bought them appeared to be better quality, better price

but labor to have someone else do things is high especially welding requiring many hours

or stuff they have that nobody else has made.

I have a small crack in my core support, too, and a slight bend to the radiator from an incident at the dunes when a Jeep cut me off. Radiator still works fine, and the crack hasn't expanded yet. I might weld some sheet metal to the front/back of the core at some point, but not too worried about it yet.

I'm not arguing that his stuff is worth it. It seems very nice. Just more than I can, or am willing to spend.

My core support finally cracked under the battery. Stock sized AGM. Energy suspension core support bushings.

You can drill the crack to stop it from spreading, step bit works great.

If mine continues to get worse and worse I will replace it, rhino line the replacement, and move the battery to the bed to take weight off of the front.

    Replace then reinforce it.

The factory metal will continue to tear even if you just replace it.

Yup. Drill the ends of the crack, weld the crack between the holes and reinforce to spread the load. It's not a well done situation by Toyota and eventually will fatigue. The "right" way IMO is to drill a couple of holes through the fender and build a support to the frame to hold the battery. That's my next step if (when) this cracks again. The fender is already done so cutting a hole through it here won't hurt my feelings. This was just a hasty fix and has held so far for a couple of years.
