Just another argument why Toyota Trucks, specifically the Tacoma of course, really are better than Chevy or Dodge...

According to the IIHS's side crash test ratings, the Chevy/GMC 1500, and the Dodge Ram both received a "poor" rating. Not marginal, not acceptable- but the lowest category. Ford did fare well, but that is another issue.

Tacoma's and Tundra's received "good":D for every crash test.

Same here...although my other car is a Subaru WRX, which is pricey to insure.

Some people have died in accidents where they were in a large vehicle...

Some people have lived through an accident where they were in a small vehicle...

It all boils down to luck. If it's your turn to go, it's your turn to go; don't matter what size of the vehicle you're in...

Yeah...but if it's not my time to go- I'd rather be driving a "good" than a "poor" so I don't spend the remainder of my days waiting for my time to go in a wheelchair or on a ventilator.

this is true, but bad luck seems to occur when the smaller vehicle gets hit by the bigger vehicle, as the high bumpers put them right at head level sometimes

My 1st accident was in my 93 Toyota pick up... 3 in body lift, 33" super swampers. I was 16 and just pulled out of work, a guy doing about 55 MPH not paying attention rear ended me, my truck flipped 4 times and i was ejected out the drivers side window... they said if i had been wearing my seatbelt ide be dead because the cab had been crushed to the floor board. I wish i still had the picks of the truck. I guess it wasn't my time to go.. i dont even remember the accident just waking up in the ambulance asking what had happened. But now i'm 22 and have a sweet 06 DC TRD OR tacoma :).
