Looks like it is just about time to swap the summer wheel/tires back on. The summer tires shouldn't be run in under 42 degrees. I don't drive late at night and the car is garaged. Meaning I need to figure out for sure what I am doing with my winter tire setup. Look for replacement 19s or go with the Tesla 20s and sell my entire 19" setup.

Installed the car update last night which was just listed as “minor fixes” to the recent update. Very much not a fan of the new “boo-doo” noise when switching between park/drive/reverse. Doesn’t fit the car at all in my opinion.

TST’s for the summer setup with the OEM Continentals went on last week. Black Gorilla Lug nuts work great and look pretty clean. Studless Nokians will stay on the stock Geminis for the winter months.

Does not look like summer right now to me. Rolling through crashtown and it’s cow pissing on a flat rock stuff.

We were 70’s for a few days and then snow today (lol). I keep mine in the garage and usually take the wife’s Highlander if it’s shitty out. I keep mine too clean

Why do you have Tesla painted onto your garage wall?

So everyone knows I’m not married to Tesla
I had this, then a Lexus i350F, sold that for a 4R, then 2018 M3LR, then a 22 M3P. Been hooked since. Toyota will always be in my garage

Headed over the mountains for my Mom’s retirement party. An overnight trip expanded into a multi day trip, so I hit up the supercharger. Last time I drove by this spot, there was a Y with a large camping airstream trailer. That would be hard to charge with a trailer I thought, having to back into a parking spot. Except Tesla already thought of that.

Heading home has the charge estimate at single digit percentage. Stopped for lunch on the drive back and hit up the Supercharger in Leavenworth for a few minutes to add ~10% leaving a nice buffer for spirited driving through the windy passes on the way home.

With all the bad smoke on the East Coast, those in Tesla groups in those areas have been praising Teslas Bio-Weapon defense mode, which activates a multistage HEPA plus secondary charcoal filters to clean even the smallest pathogens out of the air.

Except supposedly the 3 didn’t get Bio-weapons defense due to limited frunk area for the filters vs other models. But most the info seems to be before the 2022 update. Interestingly, the 3 lacks the bio-weapon defense button, but will activate bio-weapons defense if instructed via voice command. Hmm.

I checked my 2021 model Y last night and I don't see the bioweapons button in my software. Maybe it will work with a voice command but I doubt it. I did add Hepa filters in mine when I swapped out my cabin filter last month.
