    nah keeping it how it is. got a number of ideas going through my head of where to go with the build. i paid 800 for springs,flip kit, and bushings

    thats how i am, got my rear bypasses, gonna pick up some front bypasses, gusset some stuff and do some interior work and enjoy it. i cant do what i really want to do without a daily and with school and architecture projects and everything else going on

    When i was at Solo Monday, i spent some time talking to Paul about Tacoma rear suspensions. He said of you're not going to link it, just run the J59's with the stock shackle and as much shock as you can get away with. It'll work really well when valved right, and you don't end up with weird handling issues, or overly modified parts that come back to bite you. He said really long shackles on this truck cause weird handling characteristics you don't want if you're going to drive it on the street.

    I know I want sua but then will have to do bedcage and don't wanna do all that. And 2 7 inch hid and 2 9 inch with a 50 light bar. Backspacing all I k ow is there the 0mm offset with 2 inch spacer

    Got my mid travel kit done. Solo Motorsports rear shock hoop mounted outside frame rails. Bilstein 7100 reservior shocks 12" stroke. Hoop painted gunmetal grey. Deaver J59 pre-runner progressive leaf springs. 1.25" wheel spacers. My first real welding project.

    Ya, like I said, first real welding project. I got good penetration on the welds so we'll see. Ride dreamy now. Had Rancho 9000's with the deavers and always was harsh. Now pillowy feel. Went with lighter 175/60 valving on the Bilstiens as per recommendation from them. Feel a lot more confidence in turns, less body roll as shocks are slightly angled out.

    I'm not looking forward to welding up my cam tabs or buckets either. May look like popcorn. Popcorn's the way it's supposed to look right?
