Coleman queen size flocked air mattress for $25 FTW! Fits right in there at a fraction of the price.

Those Airbedz are pretty sweet though. I contemplated it. I don't mind putting a tent on the ground though, but would like to get up on the bed and off the ground for when it rains hard and for keeping critters out. I'm thinking about just putting one of those Kamp-Rit tent cots in the bed so I have a big oversize cot along with the protection from the elements. Then I can store some gear underneath it and not have to completely empty the bed of the truck when I set it up. Options, options.

that IS a good idea Adam. i like options. but unfortunately my option is having to take everything out of the bed of the truck. oh well. got room for a light and a pistol and a hot woman. thats all i need. :) (in case she reads this, those are in no particular order. lol)

BUMP for what's going to be one hell of a trip! Let's get all the details worked out and maybe even the GPS coordinates of a good camp spot so everyone knows where to meet up who's not taking the back trail. I'm tempted to even do a scouting run before this one and find a good spot big enough for all of us to camp out.

I've been looking for camping gear and stuff to make this trip awesome. I'll have a cb by then too. Need a gps.. has anyone used those garmin gps hand held radios? Thinking of grabbing one of those. kill two birds with one stone. I'm pretty booked up from now till then so I'm not sure i can make a scouting trip, but can get some info on spots. My grandparents take their jeep and buggy up there all the time.

Nice.. I was trying justify spending like 500 bills for something I might not use alot. Lol. A normal garmin is like a couple hundred by itself tho.
