Cruise Control for Manual Transmission 3rd Gen

Have searched through the forum for a bit and have not found an answer to my question.

I have a 2017 SR Access Cab with the 2.7L and 5spd manual transmission. It also came with the Utility Package (no rear seats).

I want to add cruise control, plan on following this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2016-2017-cruise-control-mod.400854/

I am wondering if I should be ordering a clutch cancel switch as well or if it already exists in my truck. I could simply look for it in the truck, but I'm not sure what I should look for.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

No idea tbh. I do know that t hey added the adaptive speed control in the 2018 with the addition of all the safety sensor stuff. Seems like it would be a pretty huge project to try adding into a system it wasn't designed for.
