I noticed tonight my truck cruising at 53mph is at 2grand on the rpm gauge while on flats.
Was wondering what others are rpm's are at different cruising speeds and compare. I guess it has a bit to do with gearing and tire size. my present tire size is at 32x11.5 15. not sure if someone has been in the rear diff. cause somewhere around on these pages someone had mentioned that they where at 2grand while going sixty.

Tire size is 265/70 R16. Seems a little higher than what most of you experience.

Okay, what's the deal? I'm the same as the OP, 53 mph at 2k. Is it the manual or 4x4? I'm running the stock tire size.
